Grandma Lures was started in 1960 by Jake Satonica. He made each lure out of wood one at a time. Today we can produce many more lures using hard plastics. We are located just half a mile east of Pymatuning Lake in Pennsylvania. We hope to have everybody with a Grandma Lure in their next fishing story.
The lure bodies are glued together in presses, with exception of the 9". It is glued together by ultra-sonic welding, which makes them quicker to produce and insures a strong bond. Old fashioned air-brushing is applied to each lure to give it a great color and finish. We use extremely sharp VMC hooks and high impact plastic lips.
