Joël and others (including Bennie Muizelaar) have been extensively tested the Assist Pilk Rig at seabass and cod and are 100% convinced that this is far more efficient than the traditional pilk-treble system. In many countries they already fish with this Assist Pilk Rig and they experienced that you lose less fish.
The Assist Pilk Rig is made of Kevlar catfish rig, sustainable LS4123F Gamakatsu hooks, strong swivel with ball bearing, split ring and shrinktube.
Fishing with single hooks and this Assist Pilk Rig has the following benefits:
- Hooks better and faster. The hooks will be sucked first. - Lose less fish because the leverage effect is eliminated by the flexible connection. - Less lures loss to the wreck/bottom because the hooks do not touch the ground. - Using a ball bearing swivel gives the pilk more rotation so the hooks will not be tangle. - Easy to switch pilks due to the split ring. Pilks without trebles are easy to store and save to keep in your pocket during fishing. - The Assist Pilk Rig is adjustable to any size pilks.
